Can I microwave, boil and freeze my Yummy Bag?

Our Yummy Bag is perfect for your daily life. You can boil, microwave or freeze it. If you use it in the microwave, do not heat for more than 10 minutes.

The silicone bag is suitable for use in temperatures between -50° and 200°C / -58° and 392°F. This makes our Yummy Bag dishwasher safe, microwave safe, oven safe and boil safe.

The closing mechanism is suitable for use in temperatures between -20°C and 100°C / -4° and 212°F. We recommend not to put this piece in boiling water. Here, we show you how to remove the closing clip if you want to sterilize your Yummy Bag.

What is the maximum volume my Yummy Bag can hold?

The maximum volume of the Yummy Bag is 230ml / 8 fl oz. You can check the volume via the transparent measure on the back of the Yummy Bag. The volume measurements indicate volume when bag is standing and opened.

The Yummy Bag is made from flexible silicone and will expand with the liquid during the freezing process. So you can fill your Yummy Bag to the brim without worrying about any spills in your freezer.

Can I write on, or label the Yummy Bag?

You can label the bag with a dry erase maker (whiteboard marker): Write name, date and volume and let dry. Dry-erase marker can be washed off using water and soap, or in the dishwasher. If you do not have one at home, be sure to add our Yummy Marker to your order. Alternatively, you can of course label the Yummy Bag using a freezer sticker label.

What else can I store in my Yummy Bag?

The Yummy Bag is super versatile, it is not just for breast milk! Once you are past the breastfeeding stage, you can continue using it for snacks, yoghurt or breakfast on the go, fruit purees, smoothies or even to bring leak-free soup to work.

It is dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe, making it perfect for both on-the-go lunches and freezer organization. A practical, eco-friendly storage buddy you will keep using every day!

How do I use the Yummy Tray and Yummy Bag together as a milk system?

Expressed milk can be stored directly in the Yummy Bag if you plan to keep it in the fridge and use it soon.

If you want to freeze it for later use, simply pour the expressed milk from the Yummy Bag into the Yummy Tray, each compartment (cloud) holds 30 ml, making portioning super easy. Once the milk is frozen, just pop out the portions you need and let them thaw slowly back in the Yummy Bag. Each Yummy Bag can hold up to 5 Yummy Tray clouds.

This way, your precious milk never comes in contact with any plastics throughout the process, only 100% safe, food grade silicone. Perfect for keeping your milk as pure and nutritious as it should be, while staying practical for everyday use.
